Pigging out at Kirin, high street. The waiters and chef can be kinda creepy. They kept roving around our tables, even from the window. Haha ordered wanton rolls (not that great), and king prawn hakaw (yum!).

His photography-based pieces captures the essence of time and movement all by his carefully placed brushstrokes. Influenced by music, Petterson creates works that seem to have a natural rhythm about them. It’s almost as if you can hear the various sounds emanating from his pieces. The Vancouver, Canada-based artist starts with photographic prints of objects, like sewing machines and typewriters, and then overlays his brushstrokes until he’s made something that has a sense of movement. Mesmerizing, to say the least.
